our text this evening is from Psalm<\/p>\n
90 at Grace City if you've been here you<\/p>\n
know we are going through a series in<\/p>\n
the Psalms in fact we do 10 Psalms a<\/p>\n
year and this is Psalm 90 so I'll let<\/p>\n
you do the math on how many years we've<\/p>\n
been doing that so this is the last<\/p>\n
Psalm we'll do this year this calendar<\/p>\n
year before we pick up next<\/p>\n
year now the Psalms uh many of you know<\/p>\n
this and some of you may<\/p>\n
not let us be reminded that the Psalms<\/p>\n
are<\/p>\n
songs just like we've been singing this<\/p>\n
evening already this afternoon already<\/p>\n
the Psalms are songs and so it's helpful<\/p>\n
to remember when we read the Psalms that<\/p>\n
we're reading something that was written<\/p>\n
thousands of years ago and it was<\/p>\n
written with the intent to Be Sung unto<\/p>\n
God to be sung in Praise of God and just<\/p>\n
as singing is so<\/p>\n
expressive and it stirs our hearts in<\/p>\n
the same way in the Psalms we find the<\/p>\n
full range of human<\/p>\n
emotion so if you read the Psalms and as<\/p>\n
we read the psalm tonight you might hear<\/p>\n
joyful words of Praise just exuberant<\/p>\n
praise and worship of God but also you<\/p>\n
will read psalms and tonight we'll read<\/p>\n
also of of<\/p>\n
Anguish of<\/p>\n
Anger of<\/p>\n
confusion of<\/p>\n
fear you could say that we see our own<\/p>\n
lives in the<\/p>\n
Psalms we see our own lives our own<\/p>\n
hearts on display in the Psalms the<\/p>\n
Psalms keep us honest they keep us<\/p>\n
honest because a sincere reading of a<\/p>\n
Psalm of the Psalms it lends us and it<\/p>\n
leads us actually to really<\/p>\n
reflect on our own lives in light of<\/p>\n
what we're reading and before we read I<\/p>\n
want us to ask I want to ask us<\/p>\n
something something of each of<\/p>\n
us what are the major<\/p>\n
thoughts that have occupied your heart<\/p>\n
your mind recently even at this very<\/p>\n
moment what is it right now that<\/p>\n
that brings you Joy when you think about<\/p>\n
your life think about the week that's<\/p>\n
passed or the week that's coming what is<\/p>\n
it that brings you<\/p>\n
Joy but at the same time what is<\/p>\n
troubling<\/p>\n
you what is troubling you what is it<\/p>\n
that you're unsure<\/p>\n
of you just have real questions about<\/p>\n
something what is that right<\/p>\n
now let us bring all of this all of this<\/p>\n
to mind as we read this psalm<\/p>\n
and listen to the word of God<\/p>\n
listen because we believe that God<\/p>\n
speaks through his word he speaks<\/p>\n
through the words of scripture he speaks<\/p>\n
Through the Bible he speaks through his<\/p>\n
truth it is<\/p>\n
powerful and so he speaks so let us tune<\/p>\n
our hearts to listen to that let me pray<\/p>\n
for us and and then we'll read Psalm 90<\/p>\n
together holy God we thank you that we<\/p>\n
can even gather today we're grateful for<\/p>\n
that<\/p>\n
that we can come together to worship you<\/p>\n
to hear uh from the<\/p>\n
scriptures and as we reflect honestly<\/p>\n
about our own lives we realize that I<\/p>\n
mean if we got to ask and share that<\/p>\n
some of us come tonight with joyful<\/p>\n
Hearts but at the same time some of us<\/p>\n
are really just full of sorrow or we're<\/p>\n
we're you know we might feel at peace<\/p>\n
While others are just weary just tired<\/p>\n
some are are sick getting over<\/p>\n
sickness some of us feel safe we might<\/p>\n
feel like things are okay and others may<\/p>\n
be experiencing a real sense of dread or<\/p>\n
just fear some of us have big questions<\/p>\n
we just don't know what to do right now<\/p>\n
in our lives and others are facing real<\/p>\n
challenges and we're just not we're just<\/p>\n
not sure what's going to<\/p>\n
happen so in all of this however we feel<\/p>\n
would you turn our hearts to you God<\/p>\n
would you would you meet us in the midst<\/p>\n
of these circumstances<\/p>\n
and the reality is that we need you we<\/p>\n
need to hear from you we need to<\/p>\n
understand that and believe and trust<\/p>\n
that you are God that you are good that<\/p>\n
you love this beautiful and yet broken<\/p>\n
world that you are working in and around<\/p>\n
us and through us and in spite of us at<\/p>\n
times please open our hearts and Minds<\/p>\n
to this open our hearts and Minds to<\/p>\n
your truth today speak to us help us<\/p>\n
help us trust in you and we pray all of<\/p>\n
this in your Holy Name Lord Jesus<\/p>\n
amen I'm going to read Psalm 90 in its<\/p>\n
entirety and uh in English and it's in<\/p>\n
Thai as well the text is in Thai and<\/p>\n
we'll refer back to this the slides will<\/p>\n
be up throughout the sermon and so we<\/p>\n
can refer back to it as well this is the<\/p>\n
word of God Psalm<\/p>\n
90 Lord you have been our Dwelling Place<\/p>\n
in all<\/p>\n
generations before the mountains were<\/p>\n
brought forth orever you had formed form<\/p>\n
Med the earth and the world from<\/p>\n
Everlasting to Everlasting you are<\/p>\n
God you were Return Man to dust and say<\/p>\n
return oh children of<\/p>\n
man for a thousand years in your sight<\/p>\n
are but as yesterday when it is passed<\/p>\n
or as a watch in the night you sweep<\/p>\n
them away as with a<\/p>\n
flood they are like a<\/p>\n
dream like grass that is renewed in the<\/p>\n
morning in the morning it flourishes and<\/p>\n
is renewed in the evening it fades and<\/p>\n
it<\/p>\n
Withers for we are brought to an end by<\/p>\n
your anger by your wrath we are<\/p>\n
dismayed you have set our iniquities<\/p>\n
before you our secret sins in the light<\/p>\n
of your<\/p>\n
presence for all our days pass away<\/p>\n
under your<\/p>\n
wrath we bring our years years to an<\/p>\n
end like a<\/p>\n
sigh the years of our life are 70 or<\/p>\n
even by reason of strength<\/p>\n
80 yet their span is but toil and<\/p>\n
trouble they are soon gone and we fly<\/p>\n
away who considers the power of your<\/p>\n
anger and and your wrath according to<\/p>\n
the fear of<\/p>\n
you so teach us to number our days that<\/p>\n
we may get a heart of<\/p>\n
wisdom return oh Lord how<\/p>\n
long have pity on your servants satisfy<\/p>\n
us in the morning with your steadfast<\/p>\n
love that we may<\/p>\n
rejoice and be glad all our days make us<\/p>\n
glad for as many days as you have<\/p>\n
Afflicted us for as many years as we<\/p>\n
have seen<\/p>\n
evil let your work be shown to to your<\/p>\n
servants and your glorious power to<\/p>\n
their<\/p>\n
children let the favor of the Lord Our<\/p>\n
God be upon us and establish the work of<\/p>\n
our hands upon us yes establish the work<\/p>\n
of our hands this is the word of<\/p>\n
God last week these flowers you might<\/p>\n
have been thinking you oh wow those<\/p>\n
don't look very nice when I brought them<\/p>\n
up<\/p>\n
here these flowers were given to our<\/p>\n
family and I've had them near my desk<\/p>\n
this week they've been a helpful visual<\/p>\n
aid for me as I've been reflecting on<\/p>\n
this very passage because you know just<\/p>\n
a few days ago the purple blooms in this<\/p>\n
bouquet were vibrant and fresh and<\/p>\n
beautiful they looked nice the petals<\/p>\n
were<\/p>\n
full hydrated but now just a few days<\/p>\n
later just a few days later they've w<\/p>\n
withed here's what they looked like<\/p>\n
earlier in the<\/p>\n
week let's see I can<\/p>\n
get let's see there we<\/p>\n
go here's what they looked like earlier<\/p>\n
in the week colorful vibrant beautiful<\/p>\n
we might say right and just a few days<\/p>\n
later they've withered now the white<\/p>\n
blooms are holding holding up a bit<\/p>\n
right but eventually this will turn to<\/p>\n
dust right this will turn to<\/p>\n
dust in fact on the floor in front of me<\/p>\n
there were a<\/p>\n
few uh pieces floating around before I<\/p>\n
came up<\/p>\n
here Psalm 90 focuses our<\/p>\n
attention on the brevity of<\/p>\n
Life the brevity of life life is brief<\/p>\n
it's<\/p>\n
brief and the brevity of Life elevates<\/p>\n
the the precious nature of Our Lives the<\/p>\n
precious nature of each day each day we<\/p>\n
have is a<\/p>\n
gift each moment passes by so quickly<\/p>\n
and the Years also right time is passing<\/p>\n
we are<\/p>\n
fading and Psalm 90 reminds us of<\/p>\n
this and if we if we read you know we're<\/p>\n
reminded and it points our hearts to<\/p>\n
consider and and to meditate on this<\/p>\n
God's<\/p>\n
eternality let's see there we<\/p>\n
go humankind's<\/p>\n
mortality and as we grapple with these<\/p>\n
realities and the reality of our of life<\/p>\n
itself in the midst of the Gospel it<\/p>\n
offers us we find Hope in the midst of<\/p>\n
Despair the psalm begins with<\/p>\n
all right there we go the psalm begins<\/p>\n
I'm going to get this I promise I'll<\/p>\n
figure it out before the night is<\/p>\n
through Moses is attributed as the the<\/p>\n
author of this Psalm and it begins with<\/p>\n
an immense and foundational look at<\/p>\n
theological truths okay who is God what<\/p>\n
has God<\/p>\n
done and we read that God has done<\/p>\n
amazing things God is Creator God has<\/p>\n
created all things before the Earth was<\/p>\n
formed before time and space and light<\/p>\n
were spoken into existence before<\/p>\n
everything that is was created out of<\/p>\n
nothing God<\/p>\n
was God<\/p>\n
existed God was and is and will be God<\/p>\n
is<\/p>\n
eternal and Moses the writer is is<\/p>\n
starting this prayer starting this song<\/p>\n
with an acknowledgment of the nature of<\/p>\n
who God is<\/p>\n
he's laying that<\/p>\n
out God is eternal God is<\/p>\n
Creator God has given<\/p>\n
life in the account of creation itself<\/p>\n
in in Genesis in the first chapter we<\/p>\n
read this so God created man in his own<\/p>\n
image in the image of God he created him<\/p>\n
male and female he created<\/p>\n
them to be created in in the image of<\/p>\n
God by God means that humans have been<\/p>\n
given Great Value enormous value and<\/p>\n
dignity and worth before<\/p>\n
God humans are precious precious every<\/p>\n
life precious in the eyes of the Creator<\/p>\n
in the eyes of God the passage in<\/p>\n
Genesis continues with with God<\/p>\n
extending his blessing upon his creation<\/p>\n
giving immense bless ing<\/p>\n
to his his creation of humans and and<\/p>\n
instructing them to giving this loving<\/p>\n
command to cultivate and to Steward and<\/p>\n
to use what God has<\/p>\n
created Moses is reconnecting with God's<\/p>\n
exist good intent for<\/p>\n
creation that mankind would exist in<\/p>\n
Perfect Harmony that there would be uh<\/p>\n
this beautiful relationship between God<\/p>\n
and His creation between Mankind and God<\/p>\n
and then mankind with one<\/p>\n
another you know the Bible talks about<\/p>\n
this<\/p>\n
image it uses the word shalom shalom and<\/p>\n
Shalom is really speaking to this idea<\/p>\n
of Peace a full and Lasting full peace<\/p>\n
blessing flourishing<\/p>\n
Shalom from Everlasting<\/p>\n
to<\/p>\n
Everlasting you are God Moses<\/p>\n
writes you have been our Dwelling<\/p>\n
Place other translations render that<\/p>\n
word dwelling as Refuge<\/p>\n
Refuge God you are our place of<\/p>\n
safety you are our place of<\/p>\n
Peace you are our place of Life a<\/p>\n
flourishing life Shalom forever you have<\/p>\n
been our<\/p>\n
dwelling that Moses begins this Psalm by<\/p>\n
recounting this perfect<\/p>\n
world and the relationship of mankind<\/p>\n
with<\/p>\n
God it serves just to magnify the stark<\/p>\n
contrast to what comes<\/p>\n
next humankind's<\/p>\n
mortality in verse three we read<\/p>\n
that sadly the Book of<\/p>\n
Genesis not only recounts creation which<\/p>\n
is good and perfect and<\/p>\n
beautiful but it recounts also the<\/p>\n
fall of<\/p>\n
mankind and in modern times we see the<\/p>\n
harsh reality of this play out we see it<\/p>\n
in the world right around us we see it<\/p>\n
even in our own hearts<\/p>\n
Wars and<\/p>\n
strife hatred and<\/p>\n
violence pain and sorrow sickness and<\/p>\n
death for When sin entered the world it<\/p>\n
brought with it sickness and death and<\/p>\n
Decay so we read on the next few verses<\/p>\n
deal with the harsh reality of our<\/p>\n
sinful<\/p>\n
actions death is a reality because of<\/p>\n
our own<\/p>\n
sin the Bible teaches that sin is an<\/p>\n
affront towards a holy<\/p>\n
God and God's judgmental wrath his anger<\/p>\n
his wrath against sin is just it's<\/p>\n
fair sin and evil are truly awful truly<\/p>\n
awful and a holy God will justly deal<\/p>\n
with sin he<\/p>\n
will in Romans we read of that in six<\/p>\n
verse uh chapter 6 verse 23 we read of<\/p>\n
that it says the wages of<\/p>\n
sin what sin leads to is<\/p>\n
death it's death and the second half of<\/p>\n
that verse is where we find the beauty<\/p>\n
of the Gospel but in the midst of that<\/p>\n
in the midst of that death the free gift<\/p>\n
of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus<\/p>\n
our lord Psalm 90 paints it paints a<\/p>\n
bleak picture doesn't it<\/p>\n
paints a bleak picture of our<\/p>\n
existence all our days pass away under<\/p>\n
your<\/p>\n
wrath we may live 70 or 80<\/p>\n
years the text says but all of these are<\/p>\n
marked by toil and<\/p>\n
trouble there's not much hope in that is<\/p>\n
there but this the this is the reality<\/p>\n
of our existence the reality problem of<\/p>\n
Our Lives the problem the problem of<\/p>\n
death the real problem the brevity of<\/p>\n
Life Is But one aspect of our lives<\/p>\n
right that our lives just fly by but the<\/p>\n
the overarching the real<\/p>\n
enemy is death it's<\/p>\n
death you know every time period every<\/p>\n
culture every people throughout our<\/p>\n
history recorded history they've had to<\/p>\n
wrestle with this reality<\/p>\n
they've had to wrestle with this<\/p>\n
impending reality for all of us we will<\/p>\n
all perish we will all<\/p>\n
perish it's no wonder that Moses writes<\/p>\n
of a great and final<\/p>\n
sigh this 80 years and then right like<\/p>\n
really 70 or 80 years and then just<\/p>\n
this you<\/p>\n
know a life a life that is void of<\/p>\n
meaning a life that ends in death can<\/p>\n
only offer one final sigh of<\/p>\n
Despair and it's in the midst of this<\/p>\n
extreme<\/p>\n
despair that the gospel which is<\/p>\n
rendered as good<\/p>\n
news this is where the gospel offers<\/p>\n
hope this is where the gospel offers<\/p>\n
hope Moses as he's writing<\/p>\n
pins<\/p>\n
this who<\/p>\n
considers who considers the power of<\/p>\n
your anger verse<\/p>\n
11 who considers the power of your anger<\/p>\n
and your<\/p>\n
wrath according to the fear of<\/p>\n
you how can the sinful one find<\/p>\n
reconciliation with God<\/p>\n
how does the sinful one find pardon if<\/p>\n
the wages of sin and we are sinners is<\/p>\n
death how can the Eternal God bestow<\/p>\n
eternal life a new in the face of<\/p>\n
death these are the questions that that<\/p>\n
are coming out of this<\/p>\n
text how can we know or experience the<\/p>\n
fullness of God's just<\/p>\n
wrath and yet not have have it fully<\/p>\n
consume<\/p>\n
us how can we as Sinners escape death<\/p>\n
that's the<\/p>\n
question and the answer is that we we<\/p>\n
can't we don't we<\/p>\n
can't and so where is the Hope in that<\/p>\n
where is the Hope in the midst of that<\/p>\n
that's the the question that the gospel<\/p>\n
comes around and comes to how can it be<\/p>\n
good news if that's if that's where we<\/p>\n
are where's the good news to be found<\/p>\n
and this is<\/p>\n
how because of of Jesus Jesus brings<\/p>\n
hope into a heart that is full of<\/p>\n
Despair<\/p>\n
how so it's his sacrificial death Jesus<\/p>\n
his sacrificial death actually<\/p>\n
consumes the wrath of God the wrath of<\/p>\n
God towards us over our<\/p>\n
sin now the found<\/p>\n
foundational uh base of of Christian<\/p>\n
doctrine and faith is that repentant<\/p>\n
sinners like when we come to God and we<\/p>\n
say I I understand that I am a sinner I<\/p>\n
believe that and so I confess and I<\/p>\n
repent and I turn and I look to<\/p>\n
you that repentant Sinners<\/p>\n
receive God's mercy not God's Wrath<\/p>\n
mercy because of what Jesus did see<\/p>\n
Jesus he's the one that took on the<\/p>\n
wrath of God the full power of God's<\/p>\n
righteous anger and judgment over sin<\/p>\n
the wrath of God was poured out on<\/p>\n
Jesus on the cross<\/p>\n
Jesus he<\/p>\n
died the wrath of God<\/p>\n
consumed Jesus and he died he died the<\/p>\n
death that we deserve as sinners Jesus<\/p>\n
who was without sin took on our<\/p>\n
sin and he consumed the wrath of God<\/p>\n
that was that was to be Meed out towards<\/p>\n
us Jesus is the only one that<\/p>\n
knows the power of God's<\/p>\n
anger Moses's questioned who who can<\/p>\n
know who does know who<\/p>\n
considers the power of your anger Jesus<\/p>\n
Jesus knows he's the only one that knows<\/p>\n
and receives on the cross the power of<\/p>\n
God's anger and not have<\/p>\n
it destroy him caused his<\/p>\n
death he took that on he<\/p>\n
died and yet that is not where it<\/p>\n
ends that is not where it<\/p>\n
ends so Christians have a sure hope<\/p>\n
where is their hope and despair<\/p>\n
Christians have a sure hope in the face<\/p>\n
of our impending physical<\/p>\n
death because we look to and believe in<\/p>\n
the one that conquered death<\/p>\n
itself for the foundational claim of<\/p>\n
Christianity is that 3 days after his<\/p>\n
crucifixion after<\/p>\n
Jesus died he<\/p>\n
rose from the<\/p>\n
dead he rose from the dead he he rose to<\/p>\n
New Life he conquered death itself death<\/p>\n
had no final power over Jesus is that it<\/p>\n
will and the hope of the gospel for<\/p>\n
those that look to Jesus is that it will<\/p>\n
have no final power over us all those<\/p>\n
who take refuge in him all those who<\/p>\n
look to Jesus as our<\/p>\n
dwelling the Apostle Paul writes about<\/p>\n
extensively he writes about the the<\/p>\n
resurrection of Jesus and its<\/p>\n
implications for<\/p>\n
Humanity in 1 Corinthians chapter<\/p>\n
15 really digs into this you can read<\/p>\n
the whole<\/p>\n
chapter and it it's a really amazing<\/p>\n
passage how it's written kind of back<\/p>\n
and forth ideas so read it when you have<\/p>\n
time even perhaps this<\/p>\n
evening but I just want to call our<\/p>\n
attention to a few verses in chapter<\/p>\n
15 Paul writes<\/p>\n
this if in Christ we have hope in this<\/p>\n
life<\/p>\n
only we are of all people most to be<\/p>\n
pied but in fact Christ has been raised<\/p>\n
from the dead the first fruits of those<\/p>\n
who have fallen asleep for as by Man<\/p>\n
Came<\/p>\n
Death by a man has come also the<\/p>\n
resurrection of the Dead for as in Adam<\/p>\n
all die so also in Christ shall all be<\/p>\n
made<\/p>\n
alive Paul is underscoring that the only<\/p>\n
hope we have in the face of death is to<\/p>\n
look to the resurrection of Jesus Christ<\/p>\n
to look to<\/p>\n
Jesus if Jes if Jesus didn't rise from<\/p>\n
the dead Paul is writing he says the<\/p>\n
only the only hope we have is in this<\/p>\n
life then we are to be pied why why<\/p>\n
Christians to be pied because we're<\/p>\n
placing Our Hope in a savior that's dead<\/p>\n
our hope is<\/p>\n
futile but Paul writes that Jesus has<\/p>\n
been raised from the dead Jesus is alive<\/p>\n
he's<\/p>\n
alive and he's reigning over all he's<\/p>\n
alive and all those that seek refuge in<\/p>\n
him all those that rest in him as the<\/p>\n
dwelling place the the Eternal dwelling<\/p>\n
of God all those will share in this hope<\/p>\n
of<\/p>\n
Resurrection will share in that hope<\/p>\n
so also in Christ shall all be made<\/p>\n
alive Paul writes we be made Alive With<\/p>\n
Jesus again one<\/p>\n
day Paul concludes the psalm with a plea<\/p>\n
unto<\/p>\n
God a prayer that God<\/p>\n
would would help us to be made aware of<\/p>\n
our<\/p>\n
fraility the brevity of Our Lives<\/p>\n
when he says teach us to<\/p>\n
number you know to to number something<\/p>\n
is to call attention to it it's to<\/p>\n
market<\/p>\n
right this kind of attention it it calls<\/p>\n
us to really consider what we are living<\/p>\n
for what are we living for what are we<\/p>\n
giving our time and our attention to<\/p>\n
what really<\/p>\n
matters what is of utmost<\/p>\n
importance the answer to these questions<\/p>\n
will be found in and through and by the<\/p>\n
wisdom of<\/p>\n
God teach us to number our days I<\/p>\n
remember someone saying one time you<\/p>\n
know when someone's on their<\/p>\n
deathbed they're<\/p>\n
dying they don't say something like I<\/p>\n
wish I I I had spent more time at the<\/p>\n
office you just don't hear that you<\/p>\n
don't hear<\/p>\n
that you know what is it that as We Know<\/p>\n
number our days what does it sharpen our<\/p>\n
attention to about today and<\/p>\n
tomorrow what are we living for what are<\/p>\n
we living<\/p>\n
for what are we connected to teach us to<\/p>\n
number our days that we may get a heart<\/p>\n
wisdom help us God right this can be our<\/p>\n
prayer help us to know how to live<\/p>\n
before<\/p>\n
you help us to know how to love and to<\/p>\n
care for those around<\/p>\n
us help us also to see the Glorious work<\/p>\n
you have done help us to see what you<\/p>\n
are doing around us right like wake us<\/p>\n
up wake us<\/p>\n
up and even as as we read further<\/p>\n
there's a beautiful generational<\/p>\n
blessing of teaching these truths right<\/p>\n
that the children would see your<\/p>\n
glorious<\/p>\n
power help us to even grasp it and to be<\/p>\n
teaching it to our children in community<\/p>\n
in our<\/p>\n
children Moses asks for God's<\/p>\n
favor he says God would you extend favor<\/p>\n
upon us he asked for the blessing of God<\/p>\n
to come and to<\/p>\n
help that can be our prayer God help us<\/p>\n
steer our hearts bless the work and the<\/p>\n
life that you've given us help us lead<\/p>\n
us guide us so that we and help us to<\/p>\n
follow you as you are faithful to do<\/p>\n
that and may God you know redeem the<\/p>\n
toil and the trouble and the hardship of<\/p>\n
70 or 80<\/p>\n
years and work all things together for<\/p>\n
his good for his glory in our<\/p>\n
lives some translations actually render<\/p>\n
that word favor as<\/p>\n
Beauty as<\/p>\n
Beauty and may that be our prayer as<\/p>\n
well may we be captivated by the beauty<\/p>\n
God beauty of who God is what God has<\/p>\n
done God's beautiful plan the<\/p>\n
sacrificial death of Jesus for<\/p>\n
us for this broken world to bring<\/p>\n
healing and<\/p>\n
restoration and out of the working of<\/p>\n
all of this to bring it into our<\/p>\n
lives we would do well to meditate on<\/p>\n
the beauty<\/p>\n
of Jesus Christ his sacrificial death<\/p>\n
for<\/p>\n
us CS Lewis wrote this concerning death<\/p>\n
itself on the one hand death is the<\/p>\n
Triumph of<\/p>\n

might be constantly on our<\/p>\n
hearts we may not need to be reminded of<\/p>\n
death um a number of us have lost loved<\/p>\n
ones in the years past this year<\/p>\n
recently our hearts are still raw with<\/p>\n
the reality of the brevity of<\/p>\n
life and they will<\/p>\n
be so in the midst of this as as Psalm<\/p>\n
90 focuses this Spotlight on this<\/p>\n
reality for<\/p>\n
us would you help us gaze upon the<\/p>\n
beauty of your eternal love for this<\/p>\n
broken<\/p>\n
World As We Sayang earlier tonight Jesus<\/p>\n
calls us to look to<\/p>\n
him Lord Jesus would you would you sing<\/p>\n
that song strongly in our hearts that we<\/p>\n
would look to<\/p>\n
you help us Look to You<\/p>\n
Jesus<\/p>\n
crucified risen from the dead eternally<\/p>\n
reigning over<\/p>\n
all help us look not to the fading<\/p>\n
things not the fading<\/p>\n
flowers not the fading things around us<\/p>\n
