especially a little bit excited today<\/p>\n
know to be up here on the 29th floor<\/p>\n
right okay<\/p>\n
CH so when the earthquake of Life comes<\/p>\n
everyone is affected right everyone is<\/p>\n
[Music]<\/p>\n
affected so the call to worship today<\/p>\n
points us to a life of this firm<\/p>\n
Foundation that we have in Jesus Christ<\/p>\n
together so let me go ahead and read<\/p>\n
this I'm going to read this entire you<\/p>\n
can follow along in English<\/p>\n
let's pray<\/p>\n
together Father in Heaven this week we<\/p>\n
have been reminded of many truths oh<\/p>\n
Lord God be reminded that our human life<\/p>\n
is<\/p>\n
frail reminded that the big in the big<\/p>\n
scheme of life we are not in<\/p>\n
control but most of all Lord God we have<\/p>\n
been<\/p>\n
reminded that our lives and our<\/p>\n
Securities are ultimately in you and in<\/p>\n
you<\/p>\n
alone father God would you help us today<\/p>\n
to be directed to you and your<\/p>\n
unmeasurable Grace that we may continue<\/p>\n
to build our lives upon your firm<\/p>\n
foundation and trust in you alone in<\/p>\n
Jesus name we pray amen gra City I want<\/p>\n
to introduce to you Brian stock Brian<\/p>\n
and Mandy uh stock have been good<\/p>\n
friends of our family for over 20 years<\/p>\n
and so we've gotten to see their family<\/p>\n
grow and their girls are with them as<\/p>\n
well they're visiting Bangkok for a week<\/p>\n
and Brian uh is gracious graciously agre<\/p>\n
to come preach while he's here he is a<\/p>\n
pastor of a church plant in K in qual<\/p>\n
lumper so in Malaysia so they're<\/p>\n
visiting and we get to hear um from the<\/p>\n
word of God through Brian and so Rihanna<\/p>\n
will be reading the text for us okay<\/p>\n
today we'll be reading from John 17<\/p>\n
veres<\/p>\n
6-9 I have manifested your name to the<\/p>\n
people whom you gave me out of the world<\/p>\n
yours they were and you gave them to to<\/p>\n
me and they have kept your word now they<\/p>\n
know that everything that you have given<\/p>\n
me is from you for I have given them the<\/p>\n
words that you gave me and they have<\/p>\n
received them and have come to know in<\/p>\n
truth that I came from you and they have<\/p>\n
believed that you sent me I am praying<\/p>\n
for them I am not praying for the world<\/p>\n
but For Those whom you have given me for<\/p>\n
they are yours all mine are yours and<\/p>\n
yours are mine and I am glorified in<\/p>\n
them<\/p>\n
and I am no longer in the world but they<\/p>\n
are in the world and I am coming to you<\/p>\n
Holy Father keep them in your name which<\/p>\n
you have given me that they may be one<\/p>\n
even as we are one while I was with them<\/p>\n
I kept them in your name which you have<\/p>\n
given me I have guarded them and not one<\/p>\n
of them has been lost except the son of<\/p>\n
Destruction that the scripture might be<\/p>\n
fulfilled but now I am coming to you and<\/p>\n
these things I speak speak in the world<\/p>\n
that they may have my joy fulfilled in<\/p>\n
themselves I have given them your word<\/p>\n
and the world has hated them because<\/p>\n
they are not of the world just as I am<\/p>\n
not of the world I do not ask that you<\/p>\n
take them out of the world but that you<\/p>\n
keep them from the evil one they are not<\/p>\n
of the world just as I am not of the<\/p>\n
world sanctify them in the truth your<\/p>\n
word is truth as you sent me into the<\/p>\n
world so I have sent them into the world<\/p>\n
world and for their sake I consecrate<\/p>\n
myself that they also may be Sanctified<\/p>\n
in<\/p>\n
truth it is truly good to be with you um<\/p>\n
often the letters of<\/p>\n
Paul will say I've heard of your faith<\/p>\n
and it's been amazing over the 20 years<\/p>\n
uh been able to see uh the work of the<\/p>\n
Lord and the grace uh that he has given<\/p>\n
you to be able to see uh many churches<\/p>\n
started in thail land and so I'm honored<\/p>\n
to now have this opportunity to preach<\/p>\n
um to you the word of God let's go to<\/p>\n
the Lord in prayer one more time and ask<\/p>\n
his uh spirit to come upon us Lord we do<\/p>\n
ask that your spirit would open our eyes<\/p>\n
and may we see wonderful things in your<\/p>\n
word uh we pray that you would open our<\/p>\n
hearts uh that we would see Christ more<\/p>\n
and we would trust him as our great high<\/p>\n
priest in his name amen well today we<\/p>\n
are going to be learning to live live a<\/p>\n
life under prayer uh Jesus disciples<\/p>\n
once asked Jesus uh teach us to pray and<\/p>\n
so we learn how to pray by looking at<\/p>\n
Jesus praying so we're entering the<\/p>\n
biblical story in 33 ad on the final<\/p>\n
night of the Lord Jesus on Earth uh in<\/p>\n
Center Stage here is Jesus on his knees<\/p>\n
he's looking up to his father in<\/p>\n
prayer his prayer to his father this is<\/p>\n
not out of submission uh this is not out<\/p>\n
of uh some ritualistic<\/p>\n
religiosity he deeply loves his<\/p>\n
father he's praying to his father out of<\/p>\n
love and<\/p>\n
dependence and for this sermon uh we<\/p>\n
enter Jesus's prayer in the middle<\/p>\n
portion so let me catch you<\/p>\n
up on the first portion of Jesus prayer<\/p>\n
and Jesus began to pray for<\/p>\n
himself it revealed uh who he was that<\/p>\n
he is the Eternal Son of God and then<\/p>\n
why did he come why did Jesus come well<\/p>\n
he came to bring All God's Children into<\/p>\n
the love which the the son had with the<\/p>\n
father from all<\/p>\n
eternity and so we see in the first<\/p>\n
portion of the his prayer Jesus highest<\/p>\n
desires if you have your Bibles you can<\/p>\n
look at verse five which is just one<\/p>\n
verse before verse<\/p>\n
six Jesus praises and now father glorify<\/p>\n
me in your presence with the glory that<\/p>\n
I had with you before the world<\/p>\n
existed so what is this Glory this Glory<\/p>\n
it was it's the glory of the love of the<\/p>\n
of our Triune God the love which he's<\/p>\n
had from all eternity for each other a<\/p>\n
love that makes much of the other Jesus<\/p>\n
loves his<\/p>\n
father Delights in his father and his<\/p>\n
father does the same and these kinds of<\/p>\n
prayers this delight and love are pray<\/p>\n
calls prayers of<\/p>\n
adoration so in church history or when<\/p>\n
you look in the Bible there are there<\/p>\n
are three kinds of prayers that you see<\/p>\n
that we<\/p>\n
see there is<\/p>\n
adoration there's<\/p>\n
confession and there's<\/p>\n
supplication adoration when you adore<\/p>\n
someone you praise and honor them<\/p>\n
so when it's when like I as a husband<\/p>\n
tell my wife you're are beautiful I<\/p>\n
adore you I'm adoring her I'm there's<\/p>\n
adoration or<\/p>\n
confession confessing is regarded to our<\/p>\n
sin our<\/p>\n
sorrow our repentance it's it's it's Us<\/p>\n
opening up it's opening up our hearts<\/p>\n
maybe to a friend telling them the<\/p>\n
situation and the problem that they are<\/p>\n
having and then there's<\/p>\n
supplication supplication is about<\/p>\n
asking for help you are in real need of<\/p>\n
someone else's assistance someone<\/p>\n
outside you to come and to help you you<\/p>\n
know Jesus said ask and you shall<\/p>\n
receive and this middle portion of Jesus<\/p>\n
prayer on his final night Jesus is<\/p>\n
really focusing now on SE<\/p>\n
lication now here Jesus is modeling how<\/p>\n
the high priest would have prayed the<\/p>\n
high priest in the Old<\/p>\n
Testament the high priest would first<\/p>\n
pray to for himself and then he would<\/p>\n
pray for the<\/p>\n
people Jesus is interceding for them he<\/p>\n
is speaking on their<\/p>\n
behalf knowing that they are in great<\/p>\n
need he's concerned for them Jesus<\/p>\n
loves these<\/p>\n
men he knows the troubles ahead the hate<\/p>\n
and the slander that will happen he<\/p>\n
knows of the danger ahead their frail<\/p>\n
faith and their slippery<\/p>\n
feet he knows it's possible for each of<\/p>\n
his disciples and so for us today we are<\/p>\n
learning about about prayer and we can<\/p>\n
come we can come to God<\/p>\n
and ask anything because<\/p>\n
Jesus is praying for us we can bring<\/p>\n
everything to God In Prayer not just the<\/p>\n
big stuff and not just the small stuff<\/p>\n
everything all our needs and our<\/p>\n
hearts Jesus cares for all of us and<\/p>\n
so what are Jesus followers needs well<\/p>\n
we can see that there<\/p>\n
are that Jesus prays for his followers<\/p>\n
to be<\/p>\n
kept to be<\/p>\n
cleansed and to be<\/p>\n
sent so our first our first point we<\/p>\n
want to see from the text is that Jesus<\/p>\n
uh prayer Keeps Us keeps us uh his first<\/p>\n
petition is that we are kept in the<\/p>\n
family<\/p>\n
name you can see this in verses 6- 11<\/p>\n
but let's focus on verse 9 through 11<\/p>\n
I'm going to read them put your eyes on<\/p>\n
the text verses 9 through 11 it says I<\/p>\n
am praying for them I am not praying for<\/p>\n
the world but For Those whom you have<\/p>\n
given me for they are yours all mine are<\/p>\n
yours and yours are mine and I am<\/p>\n
glorified in them I am no longer in the<\/p>\n
world but they are in the world and I am<\/p>\n
coming to<\/p>\n
you Holy Father keep them in your name<\/p>\n
which you have given me that they may be<\/p>\n
one even as we are<\/p>\n
one to understand Jesus prayer for his<\/p>\n
disciples I want to give you a picture<\/p>\n
of a<\/p>\n
home what can a home<\/p>\n
give a<\/p>\n
belonging<\/p>\n
safety<\/p>\n
protection<\/p>\n
love a home is a rich picture of these<\/p>\n
verses Jesus has been with these 11 men<\/p>\n
for for three years they ate slept<\/p>\n
walked worked learned laughed and did<\/p>\n
everything<\/p>\n
together they were a Band of<\/p>\n
Brothers they were friends they were a<\/p>\n
traveling<\/p>\n
home roaming around the<\/p>\n
Galilean highways and the streets of<\/p>\n
Jerusalem with Jesus the disciples<\/p>\n
belonged to<\/p>\n
Jesus he taught them now they might not<\/p>\n
know everything but they know the<\/p>\n
essential truth which is enough that<\/p>\n
Jesus<\/p>\n
is the son of God the sent<\/p>\n
Savior and Jesus kept them when when<\/p>\n
everyone left there's a number of times<\/p>\n
in the Gospel of John when there's great<\/p>\n
crowds and then they somehow are leaving<\/p>\n
go back to John six and and in John 6<\/p>\n
probably only a year before Jesus is<\/p>\n
praying this they were at a Hillside and<\/p>\n
there was 5,000 PE men 5,000 men<\/p>\n
probably up to maybe even 25,000 men<\/p>\n
women boys<\/p>\n
girls families and Jesus feeds them and<\/p>\n
then he teaches<\/p>\n
them and in his teaching brings a great<\/p>\n
stirring a little controversy<\/p>\n
and almost all of them<\/p>\n
leave yet the disciples<\/p>\n
stay and they say to Jesus where else<\/p>\n
come we go you have the words of eternal<\/p>\n
life they knew they were home with<\/p>\n
Jesus this is this what sounding truth<\/p>\n
this is this is this is a picture of<\/p>\n
your family on your mantle a home<\/p>\n
belonging see this in verse 10 all mine<\/p>\n
are yours and yours are mine there is<\/p>\n
this deep<\/p>\n
bond and Jesus's prayers assures that we<\/p>\n
belong to the father that<\/p>\n
we are the Father's Love gift to the<\/p>\n
son<\/p>\n
we we us brothers sisters we are loved<\/p>\n
ones and Jesus is making intercession<\/p>\n
for us<\/p>\n
the disciples were in the upper room<\/p>\n
around a table listening to their savior<\/p>\n
pre this is a picture of<\/p>\n
home but now I need to give you another<\/p>\n
picture being far from<\/p>\n
home as a child if you're far from<\/p>\n
home what are the<\/p>\n
dangers what are the dangers if you're a<\/p>\n
child and you're far from home home well<\/p>\n
You're<\/p>\n
vulnerable You're easily persuaded and<\/p>\n
seduced you're easily you doubt who who<\/p>\n
am<\/p>\n
I where do I<\/p>\n
belong the world is rough the world is<\/p>\n
is rough it it will eat you alive and<\/p>\n
Jesus says they are in the world without<\/p>\n
me now here the word world world does<\/p>\n
not mean<\/p>\n
population of all people 8 billion<\/p>\n
people right now or whatever it was back<\/p>\n
then or world does not mean natural<\/p>\n
Cosmos the word world here refers to the<\/p>\n
world of sin the world of<\/p>\n
darkness and<\/p>\n
evil and<\/p>\n
Injustice the world is broken around<\/p>\n
us and<\/p>\n
we are broken within<\/p>\n
us now this is a hard truth to<\/p>\n
swallow the this world is broken that<\/p>\n
the world abuses you manipulates you<\/p>\n
wants to take advantage of<\/p>\n
you and you realize and you desire that<\/p>\n
you want to join in with breaking the<\/p>\n
world you you want to steal you want to<\/p>\n
lie you desire to to look at others<\/p>\n
wrongly this is the world that Jesus<\/p>\n
left us in and so Jesus petitions in<\/p>\n
verse<\/p>\n
11 keep them keep them in your name now<\/p>\n
now what is what is Jesus praying for<\/p>\n
for his disciples what is well let me<\/p>\n
give you an<\/p>\n
illustration and a<\/p>\n
story what is he praying when he's<\/p>\n
praying keep them so here's the<\/p>\n
illustration imagine a father and a son<\/p>\n
and they're walking along a narrow<\/p>\n
mountain<\/p>\n
trail and they come to a cliff they come<\/p>\n
to a very steep<\/p>\n
cliff and the father turns to the<\/p>\n
son and he says to the son hold my hand<\/p>\n
and so they begin to walk step by step<\/p>\n
by step and oh no the sun<\/p>\n
slips but<\/p>\n
and starts to fall but the father grips<\/p>\n
tightly and quickly and brings the<\/p>\n
son back to<\/p>\n
safety the gospel is it's the father's<\/p>\n
strength and grip not the<\/p>\n
son that keeps the Sun from<\/p>\n
falling this is what Jesus is<\/p>\n
asking the father father to<\/p>\n
do keep an unbreakable firm grip on his<\/p>\n
disciples now why does why does Jesus<\/p>\n
need to pray<\/p>\n
this well his 11 disciples have frail<\/p>\n
faith and slippery<\/p>\n
feet let me tell you the story of<\/p>\n
Peter consider the story of<\/p>\n
Peter in these very hours in these very<\/p>\n
hours in the around the upper room in<\/p>\n
the final<\/p>\n
hours that Jesus was is with his<\/p>\n
disciples the gospel writers actually<\/p>\n
record a lot of things that are going on<\/p>\n
a lot of conversations that going on and<\/p>\n
in Luke and The Gospel According to<\/p>\n
Luke records another conversation with<\/p>\n
Peter and<\/p>\n
Jesus listen in now now as you listen<\/p>\n
in again we have to set it up what did<\/p>\n
Jesus just just say to Peter he just<\/p>\n
told Peter that Peter you're going to<\/p>\n
deny you're going to deny me three times<\/p>\n
and Peter says no my faith is like a<\/p>\n
rock I'm I'm not going to deny<\/p>\n
you Peter thinks that his faith is<\/p>\n
something about his<\/p>\n
strength faith is Faith is something to<\/p>\n
do with Independence<\/p>\n
but Peter he's going to learn he's going<\/p>\n
to learn that faith is all about<\/p>\n
depending on another and I also have to<\/p>\n
learn this over and over and over<\/p>\n
again so now listen in to what Luke 2231<\/p>\n
says it says Peter<\/p>\n
Peter Satan has demanded you that you<\/p>\n
might<\/p>\n
sift you like wheat sorry that he might<\/p>\n
sift you like wheat but I have prayed<\/p>\n
for you that your<\/p>\n
faith may not fail and when you have<\/p>\n
turned again strengthen your<\/p>\n
brothers this is<\/p>\n
heavy Satan demands to have Peter Satan<\/p>\n
wants Peter to belong to<\/p>\n
him to bring be on his team his family<\/p>\n
the four hor pull is<\/p>\n
strong and Jesus tells them no you're<\/p>\n
going to do okay is that what he says no<\/p>\n
he didn't say that he said Jesus tells<\/p>\n
Peter you will<\/p>\n
slip and and we know he does we we know<\/p>\n
the story he he he he he denies Jesus<\/p>\n
three<\/p>\n
times but what keeps Peter belonging to<\/p>\n
Jesus the prayer<\/p>\n
the prayer of<\/p>\n
Jesus the prayer that unleashes the<\/p>\n
power of the spirit that keeps Peter in<\/p>\n
his father's unbreakable<\/p>\n
grip Peter's in need he needs the unfa<\/p>\n
father's unbreakable grip he needs Jesus<\/p>\n
prayer and we do too I need it in this<\/p>\n
world there's a whole lot of trouble in<\/p>\n
this world there's a whole lot of<\/p>\n
pain daily we Face battles against the<\/p>\n
world and the Flesh and the<\/p>\n
devil do you think that you do you think<\/p>\n
you're AB above from<\/p>\n
falling do you think you're above the<\/p>\n
force of<\/p>\n
Temptation do you think that you can't<\/p>\n
but in an<\/p>\n
instant shipwreck your faith<\/p>\n
if Peter's Faith Can<\/p>\n
fail he's the leader of the Apostles the<\/p>\n
disciples and if all the disciples also<\/p>\n
will<\/p>\n
scatter than all of us including<\/p>\n
myself can an instant give into<\/p>\n
temptation and Jesus pray is praying<\/p>\n
father keep<\/p>\n
them keep them loyal to you keep them in<\/p>\n
love with you they're gonna need<\/p>\n
you do you pray this for yourself do you<\/p>\n
pray this for yourself<\/p>\n
father I need<\/p>\n
help lead me not in Temptation Deliver<\/p>\n
Me From Evil from the evil<\/p>\n
one see you and I when we know our need<\/p>\n
we will ask for help<\/p>\n
and we will also have<\/p>\n
compassion on others and make petition<\/p>\n
for<\/p>\n
others for others your family your other<\/p>\n
brothers and sisters in Christ your<\/p>\n
pastor elders and their<\/p>\n
families remember what Jesus told Peter<\/p>\n
and Luke says Peter when not if but when<\/p>\n
you turn back strengthen your<\/p>\n
brothers that's how how that's how it's<\/p>\n
not some inspirational story but it's<\/p>\n
pointing others to Jesus whose prayers<\/p>\n
are powerful and effective before the<\/p>\n
father and brothers and sisters because<\/p>\n
Jesus prays for his disciples oh let us<\/p>\n
pray for each other making our<\/p>\n
request and needs known to<\/p>\n
God secondly Jesus prays that we are<\/p>\n
cleansed look at verses 16 and<\/p>\n
17 they are not of the world just as I<\/p>\n
am not of the<\/p>\n
word is<\/p>\n
truth this word sanctify means to set<\/p>\n
apart it's explaining the phrase of the<\/p>\n
world that Christians are yes in the<\/p>\n
world right but we do not live for the<\/p>\n
world now in the Old Testament you have<\/p>\n
people set apart that's the priest and<\/p>\n
you have objects and clothes that are in<\/p>\n
the temple and you have special<\/p>\n
days that was set<\/p>\n
apart and these things are different<\/p>\n
from the common days and common people<\/p>\n
and common<\/p>\n
clothes we can understand this actually<\/p>\n
quite easy we can understand this by<\/p>\n
looking at money happen to bring<\/p>\n
up so the government so this piece of<\/p>\n
paper this piece of paper has been set<\/p>\n
apart by the Thai government to be worth<\/p>\n
a th000<\/p>\n
bot and me just this piece of paper<\/p>\n
right here well this piece of paper is a<\/p>\n
scratch piece of paper that I write some<\/p>\n
sermon notes or thoughts on it's worth<\/p>\n
nothing right it's used for common use<\/p>\n
so this piece of paper has special use<\/p>\n
and this piece of paper has common use<\/p>\n
and so when Jesus prays for his<\/p>\n
disciples sanctify them he means that<\/p>\n
they're set apart they're my special<\/p>\n
people and all of his disciples are set<\/p>\n
apart<\/p>\n
that we are different from the world<\/p>\n
this means that this means more than not<\/p>\n
participating in the outright worldly<\/p>\n
activities it means that we're living<\/p>\n
for something totally<\/p>\n
different we're living for the glory of<\/p>\n
God in Christ we're living a resurrected<\/p>\n
Life by the<\/p>\n
spirit now how does this happen how does<\/p>\n
this happen what how what does Jesus say<\/p>\n
about how does it happen it says that we<\/p>\n
are Sanctified in the truth the word we<\/p>\n
are Sanctified in the truth the<\/p>\n
word uh Jesus is praying to his father<\/p>\n
work in them the word work in the truths<\/p>\n
of the Gospel of who Jesus is and what<\/p>\n
he's done and what is that<\/p>\n
significance the the Disciples of Jesus<\/p>\n
are to<\/p>\n
live whole different ways of the world<\/p>\n
holy holy different ways of the<\/p>\n
world for example take relationships<\/p>\n
relationships Jesus talks about<\/p>\n
relationships in The Sermon on the Mount<\/p>\n
he<\/p>\n
says everyone everyone has relationships<\/p>\n
and everyone has relationships with<\/p>\n
people they like that's common that's<\/p>\n
normal everyone's going to have<\/p>\n
relationships with people they like but<\/p>\n
what about your enemy<\/p>\n
what about your enemy what about the<\/p>\n
person who has wronged<\/p>\n
you Jesus says love<\/p>\n
them love your enemy do good to them<\/p>\n
pray for<\/p>\n
them that's impossible that sounds like<\/p>\n
it's pretty impossible if you're really<\/p>\n
angry with someone and they're really<\/p>\n
your enemy oh just love<\/p>\n
them no it's it's It seems<\/p>\n
impossible but Jesus continues about<\/p>\n
well everyone has relationships with<\/p>\n
people with the same kind of social<\/p>\n
status but what about the poor and the<\/p>\n
needy and Jesus said love your neighbor<\/p>\n
even the poorest give<\/p>\n
generously or how are you going to do<\/p>\n
that how are you going to love your<\/p>\n
enemy and give generously to the<\/p>\n
poor and the only way to do that is to<\/p>\n
live out the truths of the Gospel to<\/p>\n
live out the truths of the Gospel that<\/p>\n
the word of God has to work in you shape<\/p>\n
you work in you you have to see that you<\/p>\n
are<\/p>\n
Sanctified now what what do I mean what<\/p>\n
do I mean you have to<\/p>\n
see that you were once God's<\/p>\n
enemy and yet he loved you yet he loved<\/p>\n
you Romans 5<\/p>\n
6-8 why we yet sinners Christ died for<\/p>\n
us and you have to see that you are<\/p>\n
pouring in spirit and God helped you and<\/p>\n
and the most neediest place of your<\/p>\n
heart in your life that Jesus became<\/p>\n
poor even though he was rich for your<\/p>\n
sake you have to see that that has to<\/p>\n
work in you it has to radically change<\/p>\n
you and you become radically different<\/p>\n
in you and through you this is what<\/p>\n
Jesus is praying for his disciples here<\/p>\n
to be to be cleansed and to be made new<\/p>\n
you have to live differently from the<\/p>\n
World by the truth of the Gospel that<\/p>\n
whenever you're around the word when<\/p>\n
whether you're around the word as you're<\/p>\n
as you're reading it in private devotion<\/p>\n
or you're hearing the word of God<\/p>\n
through a sermon or or maybe you're<\/p>\n
you're you're you're hearing it from a<\/p>\n
friend the word is doing something it's<\/p>\n
doing something it's sanctifying you<\/p>\n
it's giving you distaste for sin it's<\/p>\n
renewing your desires to no know Jesus<\/p>\n
more and to make much of God's glory<\/p>\n
it's conforming you to Christ you began<\/p>\n
to see people differently through the<\/p>\n
lens of the gospel and the<\/p>\n
word the word is living and active in<\/p>\n
your<\/p>\n
heart we know that Jesus is praying for<\/p>\n
our<\/p>\n
sanctification he knows what's inside us<\/p>\n
and that's well it's all kinds of I mean<\/p>\n
if if I'm considering just<\/p>\n
myself selfishness<\/p>\n
and sinful desires so we pray help us<\/p>\n
Lord help us so what Assurance it is<\/p>\n
that Jesus knows us he knows us from the<\/p>\n
bottom to the bottom of our heart and so<\/p>\n
when with confidence we can pray as we<\/p>\n
walk as special and sanctified people to<\/p>\n
be renewed by the word of<\/p>\n
God and then lastly the last Point here<\/p>\n
is that Jesus prayed for his disciples<\/p>\n
that we are sent out to the world so he<\/p>\n
prays that we are kept that we are<\/p>\n
Sanctified but then we are sent out sent<\/p>\n

Faith let us go together to proclaim the<\/p>\n
grace of the Lord Jesus Christ to the<\/p>\n

the world to the<\/p>\n
world and and as these disciples are<\/p>\n
sent you and I are sent out to our<\/p>\n
families and our workplaces and our<\/p>\n
communities to<\/p>\n
tell of Jesus through our words and<\/p>\n

easy the devil hates<\/p>\n
it the religious hate<\/p>\n

the mediators between God and<\/p>\n

between God and man and they would pray<\/p>\n

god like a genie in the bottle<\/p>\n
or anything but we pray to a father we<\/p>\n
pray to father so we can pray we can let<\/p>\n
us bring our needs our burdens our<\/p>\n
sins while we remain here on<\/p>\n
Earth because Jesus is praying for us<\/p>\n
because Jesus set himself apart as a<\/p>\n
sacrifice on the altar taking the hate<\/p>\n
and the Injustice and the<\/p>\n
sin and the evil we can be made<\/p>\n
holy we can bring our worst to him and<\/p>\n
we can bring the worst of the worst to<\/p>\n
him Jesus blood never<\/p>\n
fails so here is the main point that I<\/p>\n
hope we all take away is that we have<\/p>\n
great Assurance in this world because<\/p>\n
we have a great high priest who is<\/p>\n
powerful and<\/p>\n
effective praying for us right<\/p>\n
now brothers and sisters by his<\/p>\n
sacrifice we are kept and we are<\/p>\n
cleansed and we are<\/p>\n
sent let us rise and go from this place<\/p>\n
bringing Everything To God In Prayer and<\/p>\n
let's pray right now<\/p>\n
Our God we ask that you would remind us<\/p>\n
of great assurance that we have that as<\/p>\n
by the spirit through Jesus Christ to<\/p>\n
you you hear our prayers you hear our<\/p>\n
needs you hear our longings you hear our<\/p>\n
desires<\/p>\n
nothing<\/p>\n
nothing is not lifted up to you and Lord<\/p>\n
you answer accordingly we thank you that<\/p>\n
you are working in us oh it's sometimes<\/p>\n
it seems so slow but you're working and<\/p>\n
we ask that the word right now would<\/p>\n
work in our hearts and it would shape us<\/p>\n
and transform us and sanctify us more<\/p>\n
and more so that we glorify you in all<\/p>\n
